Why this shop exists
Made by Charlie is run by Charlie — who has Down syndrome, and who'll tell you that's the least interesting thing about him. When his cat Millie got ill, the shop became his way of helping pay for her care. He chooses every piece, checks every order, and packs every box himself — usually with Millie supervising from the desk. She's getting better, slowly. Every order honestly helps.

Every order is checked, wrapped and packed personally, usually within 3–7 days of ordering.
A small handwritten thank-you goes into every early order. It matters that it feels like a person sent it.

Made by Charlie is brand new — there are no reviews here yet, and we'd rather show you none than invent some. Early orders get a handwritten note from Charlie in the box, and if you share a photo of your lamp, it'll be one of the first we feature right here.

Some people like to add a little extra to help Charlie's shop grow — and keep Millie in good care. Only if you want to. It changes nothing about your order.

Peace of mind
If your order is lost or arrives damaged, we sort a replacement straight away — no back and forth. Your usual consumer rights stay exactly the same either way.

Every order is checked and packed by hand, then dispatched within 3–7 days. You'll get tracking by email the moment it's on its way.
Yes — on orders over £50, which the lamp clears on its own. Smaller orders ship at the rate shown at checkout.
An optional £2.99 add-on. If your order is lost or damaged in transit, we replace it straight away with no claims back-and-forth. With or without it, your statutory rights are unaffected.
